What a great story! I know neither the dance steps nor Bad Bunny's music, but I love that you found something that energizes you and connects you with others.

Thank you, Jeff! Music and movement are both energizing. When you put the two together in dance, whatever style or expression, it is life-giving. I still dance but not as regularly, and not those particular forms, simply because there isn't as much opportunity where I live now. But we have plenty of other forms of live music in the summers here, and I dance at any opportunity I get 😊

Really enjoyed this story. Music and dance is pure joy (and love) - and that's connection in action. The world would be a much better place, for everyone, if we each had more of that in our lives. And it doesn't matter how "good" or "bad" you are at dancing - as long as it's fun for you.

☮❤🤝

Peace. Love. Connect.

Thank you, Kevin! You nailed it... pure JOY and LOVE both. I love how you put it: connection in action. Quite literally. Yes, we should all do more of movement to music, seeking joy and connection. Great to hear from you, my friend.

Once again, I find camaraderie with you, my friend. Live music has always been 'it" for me, the giver of life. I've traveled for music events and still do, in every form, from Straight Ahead Jazz, to Bluegrass, to Rock, Latin, and Italian Opera! I have two sets of tickets for Andrea Bochelli this year, one set in Lajatico, Italy... at Teatro Del Silencio, smack dab in the middle of the ultimate family trip. And I have four 10th row seats at Red Rocks for his show this fall.

I never hold back on the experience. If there is a premium seat or experience (as there is with a private show and a Meet and Greet with John Butler at the Boston House of Blues in April) I'm ALL IN!

Thanks for reminding me about how one can climb out of loneliness. It's been a rough year, and I've bought a LOT of concert tickets so far!

As for Salsa, maybe I need to find a class too. I remember how beautiful if was in Old San Juan in early 2015, when the older gentleman there offered to teach me and my dear friend how to Salsa on the streets. Pure Vida!

Yes! Live music is life-giving, and when you dance to it, even more so. There are lots of studies that show how dancing is more effective than antidepressants, for example, for mental and emotional health.

Sorry you've had a rough year. Sounds like you have some great shows lined up, and I wish you lots of JOY this year, Toddi 💚
